I've pretty much rock hounded over most of Texas for interesting rocks, fossils, stones and petrified wood.  Due to an unfortunate event with loosing my job and going back to school to work on career number 2, I sold all my lapidary equipment except my trusty tumbler.  I began testing larger and larger stones in a new 12 lb. barrel with a great deal of success.  In fact, now I have added the mother of all tumblers, the Diamond Pacific 65T.

Armed with my new tumbler, I began to get some crazy ideas.  I had already had quite a collection of nice big chunks of interesting rough agate and other stones.  Why not start tumbling huge sculptures of stone?

I called up Dad's Rock Shop for some advice on this new endeavor and was told that I would still need to tumble smaller stones along with the big stones to increase the tumbling action.  No problem, I have collected material all over Texas and was ready to start tumbling 65 pounds of rock at one time.

Now, these tumbled stone creations are for sale.  Some of these stones were also turned into jewelry and other real cool Gift items.
